📋 Quota Distribution

📜 Eligibility Criteria

🎓 Educational Qualification

The candidate must have the following minimum educational qualification according to the post applied for:

  • Soldier General Duty (Sipahi GD): The candidate must have at least Matriculation (10th class) or Middle (8th class) pass from a recognized board.
  • Lady Rangers (Soldier GD): The candidate must have at least Middle or Matriculation pass from a recognized board. Preference will be given to candidates having a BSN or Nursing diploma.
  • Naik General Duty: The candidate must have at least Matriculation pass from a recognized board.
  • Clerk: The candidate must have Intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board. Additionally, the candidate must have a computer diploma with typing skills.
  • Sub-Inspector: The candidate must have at least FA/FSc or equivalent. Higher qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree will be preferred.

🎂 Age Limit

The candidate must be between 18 and 30 years of age as of 31 December 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for retired Armed Forces personnel and other categories.

📏 Physical Standards

👨‍🦰 For Male Candidates (Soldier GD / Naik GD / Sub-Inspector)

  • Height: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm)
  • Chest: Minimum 33 inches with 1.5 inches expansion (34.5 inches)
  • Weight: Minimum 121 pounds (as per BMI, no overweight candidates will be enlisted)
  • Running: 1.6 kilometers (1600 meters) in 7 minutes
  • Eyesight: 6/6 (with or without glasses)

👩‍🦰 For Female Candidates (Lady Rangers)

  • Height: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm)
  • Weight: As per BMI (no overweight candidates will be enlisted)
  • Marital Status: Unmarried candidates are preferred
  • Running: 1.6 kilometers (1600 meters) in 10 minutes
  • Eyesight: 6/6 (with or without glasses)

🏠 Domicile & Nationality

The candidate must be a Pakistani citizen. Candidates from all provinces including Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir are eligible to apply according to their regional quota.

💰 Salary Package

Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary package as per government pay scales:

  • Soldier General Duty (BPS-05): PKR 30,000 – 45,000 per month (including allowances)
  • Naik General Duty (BPS-07): PKR 35,000 – 50,000 per month (including allowances)
  • Clerk (BPS-07): PKR 35,000 – 50,000 per month (including allowances)
  • Sub-Inspector (BPS-14): PKR 45,000 – 60,000 per month (including allowances)

Additionally, free accommodation is provided to single applicants. Married applicants may be provided accommodation on rent at 30% of their pay.

The selection process for Pakistan Rangers Punjab consists of the following stages:
