Pakistan Rangers Punjab has announced the following positions for 2026 recruitment. Candidates can apply for one post according to their qualification.

📋 Quota Distribution

The vacancies are distributed among different regions of Pakistan according to the government quota policy.

📜 Eligibility Criteria

🎓 Educational Qualification

The candidate must have the following minimum educational qualification according to the post applied for:

• Soldier General Duty (Sipahi GD): The candidate must have at least Matriculation (10th class) or Middle (8th class) pass from a recognized board.
• Lady Rangers (Soldier GD): The candidate must have at least Middle or Matriculation pass from a recognized board. Preference will be given to candidates having a BSN or Nursing diploma.
• Naik General Duty: The candidate must have at least Matriculation pass from a recognized board.
• Clerk: The candidate must have Intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board. Additionally, the candidate must have a computer diploma with typing skills.
• Sub-Inspector: The candidate must have at least FA/FSc or equivalent. Higher qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree will be preferred.

🎂 Age Limit

The candidate must be between 18 and 30 years of age as of 31 December 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for retired Armed Forces personnel and other categories.

🏠 Domicile & Nationality

The candidate must be a Pakistani citizen. Candidates from all provinces including Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir are eligible to apply according to their regional quota.

💰 Salary Package

Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary package as per government pay scales:

• Soldier General Duty (BPS-05): PKR 30,000 – 45,000 per month (including allowances)
• Naik General Duty (BPS-07): PKR 35,000 – 50,000 per month (including allowances)
• Clerk (BPS-07): PKR 35,000 – 50,000 per month (including allowances)
• Sub-Inspector (BPS-14): PKR 45,000 – 60,000 per month (including allowances)

Additionally, free accommodation is provided to single applicants. Married applicants may be provided accommodation on rent at 30% of their pay.

• Step 3: Register yourself using your CNIC number (with dashes), email address, and mobile number.
• Step 4: Complete the online application form with accurate personal, educational, and contact information.
• Step 5: Select the position you wish to apply for (Soldier GD, Lady Rangers, Naik GD, Clerk, or Sub-Inspector).
• Step 6: Upload scanned copies of your CNIC, educational certificates, domicile, and recent passport-sized photographs.
• Step 7: Review your application and submit it online.
• Step 8: Download and print your registration slip (Roll Number Slip). This slip is mandatory for the test.

📋 Selection Process

The selection process for Pakistan Rangers Punjab consists of the following stages:

• Step 1 – Online Registration: Candidates must complete online registration and download their registration slip.
• Step 2 – Preliminary Medical: A routine checkup for height, chest, weight, and basic vitals.
• Step 3 – Physical Test: Includes running, push-ups, sit-ups, and other physical fitness assessments.
• Step 4 – Written Test: MCQs covering General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Islamiat, Mathematics, and English (as per post requirement).
• Step 5 – Interview: Evaluation of skills, discipline, and overall suitability.
• Step 6 – Final Medical: Comprehensive medical examination at Rangers hospitals.
• Step 7 – Final Merit List: Candidates are selected based on performance in all stages.

📋 Required Documents at Test Day

Candidates must bring the following documents to the test center:

• Original CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) along with 2 attested copies
• Printed Registration Slip / Roll Number Slip (mandatory for entry)
• Original educational certificates with attested copies
• Original Domicile certificate with attested copy
• Character certificate from a gazetted officer
• 4 recent passport-sized photographs
• NOC from department (for government employees)

⚠️ Important Instructions

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the physical test, written test, and interview.
• No TA or DA will be given for the test or interview.
• Applications that are incomplete or submitted after the last date will not be considered.
• Submission of applications through unofficial third-party websites is strictly prohibited.
• Any false or forged information will lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage.
• Government employees must apply through the proper channel with a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC).
